Winter Wonderland Shoot -Everyday I’m Shovelling

There’s no business like snow business….

Inspirational shoots, Styled shoots whatever you wish to call them, there is a great debate in the wedding photography world about the merits of doing one nowadays, personally I’ve never been into debating, its simply no fun because I’m always right, but as far as styled shoots go they had me at hello. WHY??  Well google LOVES new content and as a small business  keeping up with the latest trends and bringing unique content to our readers in an industry thats constantly evolving is crucial in maintaining our rank alongside fellow competition. We all know that unless your trying to hide a dead body Page 2 of google is not going to do you any favours.

As the light at the end of the tunnel draws near – our “to edit” pile has dwindled, and back to back wedding weekends have subsided  ….with our track record of holding down a relationship over wedding season “netflix and chill” was again a non happening event we graciously took it upon ourselves to call on Christchurch’s top shelf wedding vendors to join us in our free time and jump onboard our latest styled shoot idea and crusade it to the cold.  Thats right ladies don ya winter woolies, fill your hottie and pull on your uggs cause were off to the snow.

As the temperature now felt “colder than a room full of ex wives” there was no time to dilly dally so we swiftly set up camp in the luxurious offerings of Terrace Downs resort, an idyllic backdrop that was perfect for what we wanted to create….Dressed in the exquisite gown ‘Vida” from Watters Bridal and a custom collar piece by Brides of Merivale all we needed to complete this stunning ensemble was the cold stuff…

Cue the snow….

With a flurry of snow flakes we got what the Money Shot and captured a selection of beautiful images that truly give “Winter Weddings” the big thumbs up from us. If  you are looking for some Winter wedding inspiration look no further than  Dolce Wedding Photography’s  shoot.
